OSLO (Reuters) - Norwegian Airlines and Wideroe Airlines have agreed to cooperate in the Norwegian domestic market with ongoing travel, including joint tickets and passengers, the airline said on Tuesday.

“The combination of the Wideroe network along the coast and in northern Norway with the largest Norwegian traffic network in Europe will create many new travel opportunities for our customers,” said Wideroe CEO Stein Nilsen. , In a press release.

Wideroe Private, a regional airline in Scandinavia, serves short distances in a densely populated region with few railways and a rough terrain.

The Norwegian slimmed airline model came from a no-frills system last year with no remote network.
